The boys attended the morning service offered in the banquet hall of the Holiday Inn. They looked very impressive in their matching polo shirts with the Florida State Champions logo embroidered on the front.
It was here that they heard the news about fellow teammate Mikey McCoin who played during the season with the boys. He was seriously injured in a four-wheeler incident back in Okeechobee. The players sent a prayer request up to the minister. The entire room, filled with boys near Mikey's age had and continue to have Mikey and his family in their thoughts and prayers.
