Game 2 against Sebring moves Chobee to losers bracket
Game 2 in the state tournament did not have the momentum of game one for the Jr. Dixie Boys (13 year old) team. Sebring came out to this game with sweet revenge on their minds. The game was very fast paced and Okeechobee defense struggled with many very well hit balls from the Sebring boys. Sebring had racked up six runs by the second inning. Mark Weir and the defense behind him managed to put them down 1, 2, 3 in the third inning. The fourth inning was a very long inning for the Okeechobee defense. The middle of the line up from Sebring got hit after hit scoring six more runs in the fourth inning. Noah Wilcox started inning number 5 with two strike-outs but it was a little too late. The final score was 11-0. This loss places Okeechobee in the losers bracket and they will play Marianna tomorrow at 3:30. Watch for pictures of tonight's game and for information about tomorrow's game.
